I love the way you see things. I haven’t updated my sites in a while, because I have been helping my husband (writing for some of his clients), but, I love reading whatever you write. Keep up the insightful thoughts and stories.

I’m amazed and humbled by these prophets who didn’t know everything, but did the right thing anyway. They obeyed without question. Nephi’s words remind me of Adam’s answer of “I know not, save the Lord commanded me” when asked by an angel why he was offering burnt sacrifices. He didn’t have to know the why. When we are commanded by God to do something, we don’t need to know anything else but that.

Thank you, Bev. I’m guessing it’s your little bear pattern I used. My girls love their little bears. They were able to make them quickly and some of them have now become avid hand-sewers as a result of making them. I am amazed I actually sewed something at all! Me of all people! Thanks for posting the pattern.

	Hi!
I see you haven’t updated in a while but I just found your blog here. FUN to read! As for your little bear, if he is unique, so are WE!? Some of us have little lopsided, crooked parts too and we are loved anyhow =)
WHen my 2nd son was run over at 2 yrs old back in 1985, he was given a little lopsided rag doll that someone had lovingly made. He took it everywhere. It gave him hope and when he was about 6 or 7 he had me remove the hospital robe it was wearing and make it a new robe in army chamo material! He still has that doll somewhere. It no longer has any hair, but it was loved.
So don’t worry about lopsided teddy! =)
Bev

I enjoyed reading about your Thanksgiving. Mine, too, was different this time. My oldest son & his family had recently moved (to your ward, I think!) & I was missing them. I heard about the ward Thanksgiving dinner & was hopeful that they would have a good Thanksgiving so far from home.

I just read all the posts to this blog! I loved it!! You sound so much like me (lack of domestic ability, but willing to try). I have just started homeschooling my daughters and I will definetly be getting you book soon. It looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This post about what is really important really hit home for my. My daughters are almost 7, 4 and 1/2 and 15 months. We have a lot of crazy days, so I liked your thoughts about what is important. Thank you.

Just stumbled across your blog when looking for Family Home Evening ideas.
I liked this entry. I have two young children (4 and 2 years old) who I hope will grow up to enjoy reading. You’ve given me some good ideas here, thank you!
