Scribblers Retreat

My website, Scribbler's Retreat, is a new site to help writers become publishable. I've heard from people that they can find lots of sites on where to get published, but few on how to develop the skills and habits they need to make publishers pay attention to their submissions. That's what my website aims to do.

The blog is a supplement to that. It will contain more random thoughts on the subject, reviews of sites and books, quick ideas and tips, and also my own personal writing goals. I'm a non-fiction writer by trade, but I'm tackling fiction this year as my new goal.

I'm published by a traditional publisher, and I've had some pleasant reviews from places like Publisher's Weekly, but I'm not famous and I don't know it all, by any means. The comments area is a place for you to contribute your own thoughts on the subjects we're discussing. Please keep your comments courteous and on topic. Spam will be deleted.
